After a thrilling day of GFNY racing, the flavors of Aguascalientes invite you to celebrate your achievements. Indulge in succulent birria, sizzling carne asada, and sweet guavas — the local delicacies are a gourmet's dream. Gather with fellow athletes at La Saturnina, a bustling hub of laughter and camaraderie, where the clink of glasses toasts to your shared love of cycling. Uncover hidden gems as you roam the Mercado El Parián or stroll through the delightful San Marcos Garden. As night falls, unwind at one of the city's picturesque vineyards, a tranquil retreat echoing with stories of triumph and friendship. Aguascalientes is not just a racing ground; it's a vibrant fiesta of sensations, inviting you to revel in its splendor while forging memories that ride with you forever.
Course
Get ready for an exhilarating challenge on the GFNY Aguascalientes course, designed to push your limits and deliver unforgettable moments. Starting and finishing at the vibrant Isla San Marcos outdoor venue, this 146km-long distance route boasts a total elevation gain of 1515 meters, promising an incredible racing experience for all.
Racers will conquer a series of rolling hills that will put your skills to the test, while immersing you in awe-inspiring views of the majestic Cerro del Muerto mountain range. With its variety of terrain, the GFNY Aguascalientes course caters to riders of all types, providing a thrilling ride from start to finish. The maximum gradient of 6.3% adds a nice challenge, ensuring an exciting competition that will keep your adrenaline pumping.
This epic course features four notable climbs, with the crown jewel being the legendary El Ocote ascent. At just 5km in length, this short but intense climb offers stunning vistas from the top, showcasing rock climbing ranges that will leave you breathless. After conquering El Ocote, racers can relish in the tranquility of the quiet roads, adorned with picturesque views of the Cerro del Muerto, charming cactus trees, and captivating desert landscapes.
The Medium distance non-competitive riders will tackle one course lap with a total of 78km and 803 meters of climbing elevation. Now get ready the GFNY Aguascalientes course guarantees an adrenaline-fueled adventure that will create long-lasting memories for every racing enthusiast who dares to take on the challenge.
LONG COURSE IS A COMPETITION: Only the finishers of the long course are eligible for category rankings and Overall and Podium awards. If you want to race and be ranked in your category, you must complete the long course. Top 10% of finishers in each age group earn a spot in the Qualifier Corral at every GFNY World event.
MEDIUM COURSE IS NOT A COMPETITION: The riders of the medium course will be provided their start-to-finish time, but will not be ranked by finish time. All finish times will be listed in alphabetical order.

THE JERSEY: All riders receive the official GFNY Aguascalientes race jersey, which is mandatory attire at the race. The jersey is designed in NYC and Made in Italy.
CHIP TIMING: GFNY Aguascalientes is a timed race. Each athlete has their own timing chip, which starts right after you cross the start line and stops when you cross the finish line. Timing results will be available at gfny.cc/results.
FINISHER MEDAL: Every GFNY Aguascalientes finisher receives a medal, no matter which distance they complete. All finishers also earn a “Finish” towards their 3x2026 GFNY medal or the 10x medal. Go to gfny.com/medals for more information on GFNY’s multi-finisher medals.
